CT Scan Results

A couple of weeks ago I had a CT scan to image the spot in my liver an pinpoint it's location for potential radiation treatment. Well I got the results from Dr. Lupichuck this morning and it was awesome news. They can't even see the spot in the liver any more and all the spots they can see in my lungs have shrunk! How sweet is that! I will be taking 3 weeks off chemo to have a trip out to BC camping with the family so this news comes at the best time. I'm ecstatic. Just wanted to share the good news. Yahoo!

Brilliant Marketing Idea

At the Elmo music show tonight they came out at the intermission and sold Elmo balloons to the tune of $10 each (to put that into perspective tickets to the show were only $12). Of course every kid wanted one and they sold out. My guess is about 200 balloons total. Not a bad way to make an extra $2000 for the show. Brilliant merchandising plan Sesame Street.

Stampede = Country Music

It's Stampede time again here in Calgary and with Stampede comes country music. If you're looking for a great new country album to listen to this week, try Lee Brice's Hard 2 Love. Melodic and well written and easy to listen to. $9.99 on iTunes.
No chemo this week so things are good. Golf Thursday, Friday I take the kids to Victoria and leave them there for the week with my parents. Should be fun for them and good for Penny and I to have some time together. It will be a chemo week for me but it will still be good, although we'll miss the kids after about day 2.
Happy Stampeding!

Joe McNally photo workshop

Learning all about off camera flash today at a seminar by Joe McNally the "magical unicorn of off camera flash". A good distraction from chemo. The only downside is I may need to get a new flash...
